This restaurant was definitely a GREAT choice and I totally recommend it!! The food was amazing and the servings were huge. I read another review that said that their servings were small and I'm like did you order an appetizer or something??
Anyways, we were sat down immediately. After seating they took our drinks order, then a few mins later our food order.
The food came out all at once and we noticed that the portions were very generous, which is hard to come by in my opinion. The food itself was AMAZING! I ordered the beef stew with carrots and mash potatoes and I was so glad I did. It tasted exactly like the one my grandma used to make. For people who don't eat too much salt then this may be a salty plate, but it doesn't bother me because I love salty/savory food. My entire table was satisfied and they all agreed that the food had really good taste.
The servers were all nice and attentive, except for one young lady with jet black long straight hair that seemed like she was either having a bad day or that she hates her job, she was not friendly at all and to be honest should look for a different job.
Other than that I will definitely come back whenever I happen to be in Newark.

Whether you want to sit at the bar or at the sign dining you are sore to have a wonderful experience. If you want to just wear sweatpants and enjoy a simple night then the bar is a simple and amazing experience. If you want to do fine dining then I highly recommend that you call in advance to make reservations because large parties tend to fill up the dining area. Terms of the quality of the food you are receiving top notch meats and fish. I have yet to have a meal that I have not liked and I've explored the menu many times. I highly recommend going here

Great dining experience for the whole family. Perfectly prepared food that was brought out timely. Wait staff was attentive and friendly. Atmosphere (dining room) is nice, clean and well appointed.
Will be revisiting for another delicious dinner.

Went on a Saturday afternoon, quite & relaxing. Street parking was not a problem. A pitcher of sangria was fruitful and delicious. Shared cockles in garlic sauce. Needed more Portuguese rolls to collect all the sauce. And don't get me started on the salmon stuffed with Alaskan crab meat. Nice crust on the fish. A nice finish was the cappuccino. The wait staff was so friendly and attentive, yet didn't hover.
