Starlight

Good service, decent food.

Let's call it what it is: New Yorkers hate flying out of Newark, so we welcome anything that makes the EWR experience easier. My family and I needed to stop for lunch before parking at a long-term lot (don't get me started) and flying international, and the Starlight was just perfect for us.
Friendly staff, clean facilities, quick service, very good basic lunch food (sandwiches, burgers, soup etc), easy in and out, reasonably priced.

Would I hold a wedding reception in there? Of course not. But it's the restaurant in a hotel next to Newark Airport: you're expecting a 5-star meal? It's absolutely perfect for what it is. If you're saddled with a departing flight from Newark and you'd like to avoid wasting money buying food inside the airport (and I know you are, otherwise you wouldn't be scrolling through these reviews), the Starlight is a fine option.

Pizza here is absolutely delicious! The staff are nice and full of smile on their faces. Great place!

Typical lobby bar/restaurant with a good, reasonably priced menu. Just a few minutes from the Newark Airport. Friendly staff. Could use an update - a place time has forgotten.
