This is a 2020 update, all reviews are 100% honest opinions. They have got way better with food amounts for what you pay. The selection is bigger as well. My first review was when they first opened. They could have been working out the kinks. Understanding the importance of black businesses I continued to support. They have grown and gotten WAY better!

Their stuff is priced too high for what you get. There are other places like Killer Vegan that give you a big slice of cake for $6.25. Meanwhile, here that's one donut. Vegan Treats sell theirs twice as less for the same size. If the prices don't change the income of people will. The food is good, the snacks are too, but the prices are outrageous!

The food taste great. The service is extremely slow so if you are in a hurry this is not the place for you. The food is also somewhat pricey. There aren't many options in the area so there isn't much competition for them to lower their prices. If you choose to pay the high price I recommend the fennel tacos, the pancakes and fennel hash.

I really wanted something sweet but it had to be vegan so went to this spot. I have been to the restaurant next door several times but never came here. I walked in and was served right after the person in front was done. The server explained each dessert and I was going to go with the brownie and blueberry donut. Then when I got to the counter I seen this beautifully made chocolate cake and I was sold. He told me it was a peanut butter chocolate cake and it cost $12 plus tax. Vegan food especially in this and the restaurant next door is expensive. I never paid $12 for dessert but really wanted it. The server cut a big slice so I was happy with that. He was really nice about putting the other desserts that I was going to get back. I paid with credit card and left.

When I got home I waited a bit to try it because it was cold and I prefered to have it room temperature. When I finally dug in, I was pleased. It was very good. I couldn't eat it in one sitting either. I will be back to try more items.
