“One day I felt like having a sandwich and Uber offered me an option to try Newark Legend Deli. At first I was a bit hesitant but once I saw the pictures of their food I knew I had to give it a try . I ordered at least about 5 times from them already. one occasion I placed an order and they had no fries and the kind lady ask if there’s something to replace it with since fries weren’t available at that current moment and I told her to make a cold sandwich. she even threw in some drinks to accommodate the space of fries . I would recommend everyone to check out this place . They have great business etiquette, and are just amazing 😊😊💯”

“Nice clean place, smelled good coming in and the menu is filled with variety. I was indecisive until the nice lady gave me a recommendation that sounded delicious. She said it would take about 20 minutes because it was being made fresh. When I received the food it was worth it. Fresh, tasty, and so much food for the amount I paid. Definitely come grab food to sit or take home. You’ll love it!”

“Decent store ....prices inflated but that was before the pandemic. Daughter of the owner is born and raised here so she gets the people 👏 very nice girl . Cook will wash his hands n not give u a problem for asking . If u order food from the back that they have to cook be specific and you should b okay. Clean store. No visible mouse traps or roach sticky pads. No expired meats from what I've seen .”

“Went last night for dinner and all I can say is that everything was FANTASTIC. The food was excellent, the drinks were even better. But best of all...the SERVICE! Edwin was our server, and couldn’t have been more attentive. The only thing I would suggest is maybe turn the music down a bit in the dining room, earlier in the night. We couldn’t really hear each other. But no complaints from me. The atmosphere was great, and so was the music. Really good mix of different genres. New favorite place, will be back soon!”

“As the saying goes "good things come in small packages ---Very Small and Quaint but this place is LIT. The vibe is incredible with the DJ playing new and classic hip hop and R&B music, don't be afraid to dance and sing along. The staff is excellent with the highest level of customer service. The kitchen stays open late and the food is respectable. Prices are good $$ and fair. Hookah was definitely flowing. Go with the mindset of having a good time and you'll enjoy yourself.”
