LOUD, LOUD, LOUD! When asked to lower the sound the manager says, “This is what my customers like!” Wasn’t my table with friends customers? Never received such a rude answer from a manager. I read other reviews here that agree about the level of sound. We had to shout at each other to be heard! Sound aside, the food is good. Wait service was good. I’m a local. Would I go back? Not sure.

Very good steak. Owner is very nice. The bartenders could be better.

Went last night for my annual Christmas party: food was exceptional!
Seafood was 10/10 fresh, and my steak was one of the best I’ve ever had. For dessert I had a chocolate mousse that was infused with peanut butter and jelly - delicious.

Excellent food. Large servings. Waiter was attentive and personable but not intrusive. Prices a bit high, but the food was seriously good.
Kind of loud - the dining room is open to the bar and the place is done in an industrial style, so nothing soaks up the noise - it bounces around. Probably why I didn't give it 5 stars. I dined w/ two other people, and if one turned away from me to talk to the other person I couldn't hear them at all.
If you enjoy excellent food, don't mind paying at least $$$, and aren't interested in conversing, this will be your dream restaurant. ????
Seriously, the food is worth trying. Nothing bad to say about any of our meals. All 3 of us enjoyed our food immensely. And you WILL be full because the portions are generous.

I had the Braised Short Rib, one of the signature dishes at MEAL. If this is their signature, then their reputation is easily secure in my book. A decent portion size with two full size sides, substitutable within reason. Happy hour Tuesday through Sunday from 4-6:30pm. Their small plates are a great value at just $5 for what is essentially a small meal. Not a great happy hour beer selection, but $3 for beer, $4 for wine, and $5 for mixed drinks on happy hour makes any selection more than acceptable. Friendly, fast service. Succulent, delicious food. Music in the bar area that is quiet enough to hear over in quiet conversation. Couldn't ask for anything more, other than slightly lower prices on premium dishes. There is something for everyone and nearly every price point (if you hit happy hour). Loved it.
