Lalibela Ethiopian Restaurant

Great food. Got the vegetarian platter. Small, simple decor. Played Ethiopian music. Will definitely go back.

This is an Ethiopian restaurant which serves only Vegetarian/Vegan food. Plenty of options to choose from... When we got there they were getting ready to close but prepared our meals nontheless- which was extremely nice of them... Injera bread was good but was a bit too tart and sour for my liking. Overall dishes were yummy.

Best Ethiopian in the area! Staff won't bother you, but if you get in a conversation with them they will be really nice and tell you some interesting things about Ethiopia if you ask!

Awesome food, awesome people. They generally close at 9pm on weekdays but we called ahead and explained we are going to be late. Michelle was extremely kind and helpful. Even though we reached at 9:30pm, we were welcomed with smiles and hot food. You don't get to see such hospitality these days. We ordered a vegetarian platter with 6 different dishes which was more than enough for two people.

I love spiced Injera as appetizer and other vegetables. I love the taste of all vegetarian dishes. The proportion is also large. This is my most favorite and go to place. I highly recommend it.

I wish them to be open throughout afternoon specifically during weekdays. I would highly recommend them to be open on Sundays too.

Last Saturday when I went there at 3.30pm they were closed. I was so disappointed as I had specifically been to their place from Jersey City just to have their food because I so love it.

In addition the Google maps doesn't mention that they are closed during specific hours. So I didn't call them before going.
