Bistro d'Azur

Had the most amazing experience at a 5-course Wine Paired dinner at Bistro d'Azur. The food was incredible. Chef's explanation of the wines and corresponding food pairings were interesting, eloquent, and wonderful to listen to. Wines were delicious and all new for me. Atmosphere was like dinner at a great friend's (gorgeously decorated) house. I can't wait to go back! Unforgettable night.

Everything was fantastic! The atmosphere, the service, and the food where all great. Lobster crepe and the pepper crusted tuna for the BF, the butternut squash soup and risotto with the beet salad for me! It was a great way to spend our evening and we will be back.

Great add to the neighborhood. Decor is beautiful. Service was on, which is rare for a new place. And the food was great. Would be 5 stars except the prices are out of line with this market. Will definitely go back but it won't be in the regular rotation because of the prices.

Food was ok, pricey, service was only fair. We refilled our own wine glasses as nobody came by .
The owner/ manager (not sure who) spent time at many other tables and even though we were there almost two hours, never came to us.
When we were leaving he was sitting at the bar chatting with a woman and asked how we liked it.
I just had a fabulous email discussion with the owner about our night.

There were things we didn't understand, and i changed my rating.
I believe the bistro deserves a second chance and I'm sure we'll do just that.

This is a charming new place with great food, staff, decor and ambience music. If you want a nice quiet, or romantic meal this would be an ideal place. The prices are fine. There is BYOB and they have a small menu of wine by the bottle that they offer to cork to take home. All in all, it was a place that you would definitely want to visit again.
