Chit Chat Diner West Orange

Good food. Good service. Nice place. Food is slightly better than other places in area. However, prices are the highest o think I've ever seen at a diner. Each item costs about 50% more than the competition.

This place has been open since August 2018, my wife and I just stopped in for a quick breakfast and wanted to try a new place. We were pleasantly surprised. The decor is very different from other diners in the area, the outside has a very Gotham city look, black castle like look to it. The inside is like something out of a fairy tale. I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't been, but it is beautiful. Now the food. Its delicious. We had basic diner fare, but it's done to perfection. The coffee is not weak, the sides are very tasty, and the entrees we had were amazing.
This is a great place for a family night out, a date, or just a quick bite. We will definitely be going back to try more tasty options on their menu.

They are very pricey. The place is beautiful to look at but I don't find there food very tasty. Burgers are very dry and no flavor.breakfast is good but plan on spending at least 40 dollars.there smoothies are good.there lunch sandwiches are nothing special. I think if they had a better menu , it might help.i could go to a regular diner for a great menu, excellent food an half the price. So now I go for only breakfast or just a smoothie once a month.

This was definitely a diner worth coming to. From the moment I walked in, the service was fast and friendly, the environment was easy going and pleasant, and it was a nicely decorated diner. It is set up on the Eagle Rock Reservation so the view from the parking lot is absolutely amazing with a clear view of the city. I ordered the western omelette and the food was delicious. I am definitely looking forward to coming back to this location to dine a second time.

Food is always great. Staff friendly efficient courteous. Owner walks around to make sure everyone is happy. Very clean. Can't wait for 24/7. I'd give it 10 stars if that was an option.
