Jimmy Buff's Italian Hot Dogs

Our favorite place! We still come back on Fat Tuesday to enjoy the double special. My daughter love the sausage sandwich! ????

Top notch this is probably the only location that let you watch them prepare it and cook it any way you like. I hope they are around for another 100 years. People who keep telling me Chicago has the best hot dogs need to have a trip to Jimmy Buffs, Boulevard Drinks and Gray's Papaya they are all 3 unique and can not be compared or pigeon holed with other hot dog places.

Cash only. I've been going here for my whole life. It's not someplace I'd recommend frequenting because the food is definitely not health food but it's hearty, cheap, and tasty. Service is pretty fast and very efficient. You can call ahead and just pick up. There are a few tables where you can sit and eat there.

Great place to go for a hot dog or sausage. Very tasty food, very reasonable prices, fast service, and friendly staff. What more can you ask for? If you're torn between getting a hot dog or sausage, go for the double combo which is a hot dog and a sausage together in a pizza roll with fried onions and fried potatoes on top of it. Heaven in a roll. Highly recommended. For all those other reviews that say the food at this place is oily, if you're looking for a fresh salad, go elsewhere. If you're looking for something that may not be good for you, but is definitely good for the soul, come here.

Great dogs! They bring back great memories of my childhood. Highly recommend this Jersey staple. Staff are also friendly and eager to please. Tuesday Special is a great deal-get a double for the price of a single.
