Cap'n Cat Clam Bar

The best shrimp I've ever had the pleasure to consume. Great crustesan eating. Dungeness crabs, king crab, lobster, Whiting. It's always packed for dinner. It's because the seafood is so good. Warning the cocktail sauce is addictive but will take your breath away if you dip just a little too much. There is a bar her. There is a piano / singer on weekends. Not tank tops allowed. There is a liquor store attached but to the side so when you dine there you can't see it. Also some may not know there are animals in the back fenced in that you can visit. Great seafood.

So, if you are the kind of person who just wants to eat a pile of crab legs, shrimp, or mussels and nothing else, (and apparently there are many of you) then you will love this place. The seafood is very good. The problem for me is- I need a salad, rice, or a nice baked potato to go with my shrimp. And I find it astounding that there are absolutely no side dishes or salads on the menu. So if you are a true vegetarian, you will definitely be leaving hungry. And forget about your diet. Even the soups (often a lower calorie option at other places) are all cream based. Still, this place is my father in law's favorite, and every time we've been, it's packed, so I may be in the minority.

I always get steamed clams and steamed shrimp. I come here often and I've never been disappointed. There's a dining room area and there's also tables around the bar. The service is always great.

Interesting little place to say the look least. When you walk in you know it is strictly seafood. Food is good. Service is friendly. You feel like you are at your neighbor's house for the evening. Will be back, for sure.

This place is incredible. The raw seafood was fresh and delicious, and the soups are out of this world. I would reccomend the bisque. The value and quality are unbeatable and the staff is all friendly. I'm new to the area and have already been several times.
