The Telford Inn

You can tell this place was something very special back in the day! The bar is like something you would see in an English pub with pewter mugs hanging from the ceiling. The food we had was good and the beer was nice and cold. Anyway, they are apparently in the process of updating the rooms so check back in a year or so. I bet it will be worth seeing.

I’ve been coming here for years, but today was my 1st time for lunch. Had the “Pub Steak” and asked for it prepared medium-rare and unfortunately it was a little too rare. As reluctant as I was to send it back, I did. It came back medium-well. In my opinion, there’s definitely something to be said about a place that can cook steaks spot-on. However, they did send me out more meat than I sent the plate back in with. So for that, I am grateful. ????????

This is one of my favorite places in the area and I consider it my regular place. I have a mug there and I am part of the Telford family I know the staff personally and they are very attentive, effective l, personable and just damn nice to talk to you when I'm there. Thank you to Nancy, Kathy, Nicolette,and every other staff member that I've come in contact with. As far as the food the food is consistent. I still have my complaints. That being they shouldn't serve the roast beef sandwich on a brioche bun which cannot handle the sandwich they serve. That is a major flaw. The new menu they rolled out just recently is okay but does not blow my mind. Thank god they kept some of the original items on the original menu. I will always continue to go here cuz I can still find good food on the menu. And for those who have never been here you will find something for yourself as well.

Chicken caeser salad was very good as was the cheese steak and turkey club. The fries were crisp and not oily. The homemade chips were tasty as well. The prices were very reasonable. The atmosphere is very relaxing with a real wood burning fire. Definitely recommend this restaurant for food and drinks
