Wasabi Restaurant

I've been dining here for years, it used to be my go to sushi place but unfortunately the quality and quantity of the fish in the sushi has gone down over the years! A lot of the rolls, especially tempura, will barely have any fish in it anymore. It sucks bc this place is close and used to be my favorite, now I drive 15 minutes further to a better place. The only day I'm willing to go to Wasabi now is on Tuesdays because all the sushi is 50% off. Let me clear something up I've noticed other reviewers going back and forth on.. they have sushi special rolls that change the 10th of each month that are 50% off, when paying either cash or credit. The cash-only policy is only enforced for the Tuesday ALL SUSHI half-off day. So if you go on a Tuesday, be sure to bring cash! If you have a Wasabi gift card that was paid for with a credit card, they will NOT let you use it on a Tuesday for the half price sushi. The dining area has hardwood booths that aren't very comfortable to sit in with no seat cushions. Only day there's a wait is Tuesday night's for obvious reasons. All hardwood booth seating in the dining area, they have a hibachi area in the back room with regular chair seats. Service isn't exactly with a smile here, but it's usually busy when I'm there so I understand. Their homemade soy sauce is awesome, be sure to ask for it with takeout orders if you like a sweet soy sauce.

Would give 5 stars but they recently changed Tuesdays 1/2 off sushi to cash only.... Seems a little sketchy that they'll give you a receipt of what it'll be 1/2 off then change your receipt to reflect full price if you use card...

This restaurant is a hidden gem. It may look run down from the outside or kitschy from the inside, but the food is amazing. Staff is friendly and good with substitutions/custom orders. There are plenty of menu options that are reasonably priced too. Decorations are brought out with care, often granting you a plate of sushi with fresh flowers as a garnish.

I typically order the yam tempura roll, which is to die for. The tempura is amazing and a must try. I love the vegetable tempura as well. Appetisers are served hot, and ice cream is served cold. My family orders fancier rolls like the Snow White, Crispy Tuna, or Hairy Mexican, and no one is ever displeased with service or food.

I love it here! It’s one of my new favorite spots :) everything is always delicious and the waiters are super friendly!! I will be back soon!

My husband daughter and I come here so much. We absolutely love the atmosphere, the service and my god the food is absolutely delicious. Highly highly recommend Wasabi for Asian cuisine!!
