Limoncello Ristorante

This is welcome and refreshing addition to the restaurant scene around Washington Twp. There was simple yet nice room decor. Comfortable seating. Our server was nice, engaging, congenial and very knowledgeable about the menu and specials.
The lobster bisque with crab was a nice way to kick off our meal experience. There was an ample amount of soup, well balanced flavors presented, with plenty of crabmeat. There was a unique presentation for calamari, not breaded and deep fried but rather sort of sautéed and mixed with arugula and cherry tomatoes like a ‘salad’, and it was excellent!
The entrees were the special: 2 lightly breaded flounder filets with LOTS of crabmeat, roasted cherry tomatoes, and asparagus in a lovely cream sauce. The breading on the flounder was light and not over-seasoned. The asparagus was tender and tasty, not ‘woody’. Overall, a well-balanced dish. I wish it would be a regular on the menu. My complements to the chef for a great seafood dish.
I thought the unique presentation of tiramisu was pretty cool, also. It was made good, not thick, heavy, or overly filling. It had a delicious blend of sweet, creamy mascarpone, coffee, and chocolate sauce. A nice way to finish out or meal.
I’m happy we chose to eat here. We will definitely return!

Food was delicious. The manager, Erjon, was great. Full house on a Wednesday night so it was kind of loud for a conversation at our table of four. I highly recommend getting a reservation. We will be back.
UPDATE 4\4\24: Food was good. Less than half full on a Thursday night so the sound level was much lower. Note: There is an added fee to pay by card.

Atmosphere good and service was a 5 even with a new waitress i believe. Food was subpar. I expected better food. Their peanut butter explosion was a lack of peanut butter. Gnocchi very average and sauce was little sweet. My wifes scallops were not good at all. Lobster bisque was a giant crab leg you couldn't even pull apart. Its a decent try but food needs an upgrade my opinion.

Tonight was my second trip to Limoncello Ristorante in Washington Township, and it did not disappoint. It was my husband’s first time there, and he said it may have been the best meal he’s ever had. The service was spectacular. Very attentive and friendly. We started with the Antipasto Limoncello, which was delicious. I had the “Carne” which was braised short rib served on parmesan risotto. My husband had the Flounder Francaise special, which was topped with crabmeat and served over homemade papardelle. Both were incredible. We finished with the creme brûlée (sorry about the missing bites before the photo! 😆) and a complimentary limoncello. I can’t wait to go back and work my way through the rest of the menu!

They just opened a few days ago and I loved it!! The food was amazing and so was the service. Very kind people. The restaurant is BYOB, so make sure to pack what you wish to drink that is an alcoholic beverage! I recommend setting up a reservation since they are new, and the food is so good it’ll have you coming back for more. The proportions for the main dish were amazing, it comes in a cute bowl with the right amount of food you can finish. Not too much and not too little. It was perfect. They had a few deserts as well, and my boyfriend loved the cheesecake! My boyfriend got the Gnocchi with the hazelnuts which he said gave a fine distinct taste which he loved. Will be coming again!
