We were very excited to host a wedding there, having gotten a recommendation from a family member. Scotland Run worked with us on the food, drinks, decorations -- everything -- helping us stay within budget while planning a wonderful event. We were particularly charmed by the cleverly designed double gazebo, where both the guests and bridal party are under cover while enjoying a beautiful view. Equally impressive was the strategy for dealing with some pretty tricky food allergies and limitations. Unfortunately, the wedding did not take place, but Nick at Scotland Run went way above and beyond to lessen the impact of this. Scotland Run will treat you the way your own family would. “We went based on a review about the nachos being the best the person had ever had. We go all over trying nachos, it's our thing. They were NOT the best nachos... they really weren't much more than a taco salad. The floors were so slippery it was ridiculous. I thought I had stepped in spilled food, no it was the floor. To the point that in the restroom we were all talking about it along with the fact that the stalls were so small your knees hit the doors when you sat down. One lady pointed put she was willing to overlook the floor hazard and the small stalls if the food was really good. It was honestly just okay. To add insult to injury the band they had... was terrible. So we tried the nachos, had one drink... and left. We agreed we would never come back. It gets three stars because our server was awesome and honest, she said sometimes the food is good and sometimes it is just okay... and if you want a good drink you have to one of the seasoned bar tenders and not one of the new ones.”

“Five stars! Great food and great owner! We had an issue with our GrubHub order on both the restaurant side and app side. We ended waiting two hours for our food. Once we contacted the restaurant and spoke with the manager he apologized profusely, personally made our food AND personally delivered it to our house. The food was warm and delicious. “I've been in there quite a few times I told them uni was my favorite and they said They carried it all the time so I paid the extra $15 for dinner it's much more expensive here than anywhere it's very clean it's not very large portions of fish uni very small portion I did tell them I do a lot of reviews on sushi restaurants and they seen me taking pictures but they've never tried to make my visit special they charge for everything with exception if you spend $80 on yourself she'll give you a couple ice cream discs their little ice cream is wrapped in dough I buy them for a 1. 99 for a box of 8 at the Oriental supermarket after about my eighth visit they did give my young child some kind of a drink but I think she charged me LOL it's never crowded if you want to get away from the crowd and pay a little extra money to do that the fish is fresh it's just small portions like I told her I go to tell him I owe for $24 or I can eat big portions fresh fish or I can come here and spend almost $80 and I'm still a little hungry”
