The Little Food Cafe

We LOVE this place! We order from them almost everyday since they are always creative with their lunch specials and the food is always delicious. They are always so nice when you call. There are so many disappointing restaurants in Bayonne where they start off great and tail of, well this one will NOT disappoint you.

A small local joint for tasty sandwiches and amazing, original desserts.

I have only personally eaten here twice, but my girlfriend grew up in town and got me hooked on their desserts. Our go-to is their "Pear Square." I'm not sure if they're famous for this, but they ought to be. I'm not exactly sure how it's made as they seem to be reluctant to give out too much info, but its somewhere along the lines of a cheesecake bar with a half a poached pear on top and if we lived in town we'd likely be here every weekend for this alone.

Last time I had a Maple Pecan Cheesecake slice and my girlfriend got a Brownie. They were both pretty solid as well.

Definitely recommend checking this place out for a quick lunch or just a sweet-tooth craving. Just keep in mind that they are cash only.

Really good place, yummy food, fast and nicely sized portions.. my husband and I split one sandwich for lunch and it was perfect amount;-)

Cute and dainty cafe. Their mexican soup was good although I wish it had more cilantro. But it definitely helped with my cold. ????????
