Tops Diner

The food here was great. The service was even better! Clean, comfortable, and fast! You must try this place! It's not your regular"diner."

Tops is tops. How delicious. The place is packed so be prepared to wait.

The service was sharp. They had swordfish on my visit and the preparation was first rate. The sauce was tasty and the sides were great.

Being a New Jersey diner, they also had a variety of delicious cheesecakes. They have great portions so get two forks!

Vegetarians will be fine here. Vegans can find some things though it will be tougher.

Wheelchair accessible seating is possible, but you should let folks out before parking, which is free.

The lot, however, has a steep drop and that's worth noting.

This place is certainly worth the visit.

I don't generally review Diner's because they're .. Ya know...Diner's. But this place is awesome.. When you walk into a places at 1:30 on a Thursday afternoon and there's a wait ... Pretty good indicator that it's gonna be above average. And it absolutely is.. Maybe 10-15% more expensive than you're regular old. Diner but absolutely worth it. If you find yourself in the Armpit of the state. Stop by Tops I'll almost restore your faith in Newark. Almost

Great dinner. Fast friendly service. Clean and we'll maintained. Food is fantastic and plentiful. If you like corned beef hash you have to try their homemade hash. Best I've ever had.

Best diner ever. Food, ambiance,service, music, even other clientele was great compared to other diners filled with drunkards. I guess it helps they close at 2am for this reason... Anyway, I can't wait to go back. Great menu and quality. This truly is the "tops" of all diners.
