8th Street Tavern

My only complaint is that this place is cash only. Massive bar. Good music. Fantastic buffalo chicken sandwich. Friendly staff. And I attended during a tap takeover and joined the beer club. Will return soon.

This place checks every box, long accessible bar, good beer list, pool table, darts, shuffleboard, lots of TVs (bonus points-Scarface was playing on one of them), trivia nights, live music, friendly bartenders.

Cool bar, great jukebox and good pub food. Fun atmosphere

I've been going to 8th St for years, and I am glad to see that they are finally improving upon what matters most in a bar so close to a university - their craft beer selection! With unique beers from local microbreweries as well as big name brands, you can find a good beer for any palette or mood. They also have a steadily growing selection of fun cocktails, and their food, while a bit pricey, is always tasty. Biggest complaint most people have is that it's cash only, but there is an ATM inside that doesn't break the bank to withdraw from.

Nice place to go to for a drink. Nothing special about the atmosphere, but there is a darts board and pool table. The bartenders and staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. You wouldn't expect it but they have a very good drink/beer menu here and buy from local brewers also. Highly recommend going here for a casual drink/night out.
