Violet's From Jamaica with Love

My husband and I love to eat at Violet we especially like her rice and peas its perfectly seasoned. We have try other Caribbean restaurant but their food wasn't as tasty as hers. Thank God for Violet's. I highly recommend her for a great home cook meal.

I just recently went there my first and it wasn’t a bad experience. I gave it three stars because I ordered oxtail with rice and peas ($22) and only received four pieces of oxtail. For the price, I don’t think that was worth it. The owner served me and she was really nice. She got my food set up and someone else walked in to order, and she took care of him and not me even though I was there first waiting to be taken cared of. Not a big deal, but I was there first wondering why she took care of him before me.

Baby let me tell you. If you don't get anything else from GET THE CURRY CHUNKS. I promise you won't degret it. I loved everything about this place. I didn't even finish my food before writing this review. I've never tried soy before today, but my I'm definitely going back over and over again.

Definitely a mom and pop. The service and attention to the individual was great. While the meal size I went with was a bit pricey and that may be on me the portion sizes were BIG. One larger meal along with a chicken soup was more then enough for my family of 3 with left overs me for. Great new spot love that we are getting so many different local restaurants 😀

I absolutely love this restaurant. I have tried the jerk chicken with rice and beans, the soup and then the beef patty. Everything was so delicious. I’m definitely coming back to try everything else on the menu. The staff was so friendly and the place is so clean. Very welcoming.
