Torshi - Mediterranean Grill

Torshi is the new made to order fresh Mediterranean grill in town. During my visit, I was welcomed with a great hospitality by the owner Muhammad and his beautiful team members.

Being my first time at this restaurant, Muhammad introduced us to the fresh ingredients and the different options available. His recommendations were very delicious and matched his hospitality.

We ordered the chicken shawarma bowl and lamb/beef kebab wrap. These two dishes were simply amazing. The chicken shawarma bowl featured rice, chicken and various Mediterranean toppings. The lamb/beef kebab had a pleasant smoky taste and it paired well the fresh vegetables wrapped together.

Torshi also have tasty baklava imported directly from Turkey and it was the best We’ve ever tasted.

We also received two warm falafels to try and from the first bite, the exterior was exceptionally crispy, moist in the middle and packed full of flavor in every bite.

The restaurant is family and wheelchair friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area looking for a different experience.

When in the Kearny area and looking for Mediterranean with tons of vegetarian options, I recommend you stop here. They have many ways to build your perfect meal. The staff is super welcoming and friendly. They have indoor and outdoor (views of the river) it was nice sitting watching the water. The food was great and they gave us healthy portions also. Will be going back again.

I had the falafel platter and it was so filling and satisfying! I wasn’t left feeling heavy and everything was extremely fresh. The falafel with some of the best I’ve ever had. Really looking forward to having it as a sandwich. Highly recommend worth the visit.

The best middle eastern food in the area !! Super authentic, very nice owners the food is delicious and the garlic sauce is also very good!! Love it, very healthy and not expensive at all, this is my go to place in the area .

Clean establishment.

My family of 5 loved it! My 3, 4, & 5yr old all ate their meals. I’m a happy Momma. Everything was delicious and fresh. It’s just not your average chicken/lamb over rice spot; Torshi has many options for personal flavor choices. I enjoyed the vegan options as well. When in Kearny I’m definitely dining here! The owner and employees were very welcoming and kid friendly! That’s a big positive bonus. Thanks.
