No matter what that foodie guy said, THESE are the best Cuban sandwiches. Roast pork never tastes old like the other places around. Years ago I lived in the neighborhood, and my mission to find the best Cuban on Bergenline as they were so inexpensive (2 for $3.75 in 1993!) Found this place and never went anywhere else. Have brought other friends, we've tried just about everything (Churrasco isn't overly salted and cooked to order, of course) and trust me, it's all good! The saddest thing, and it applies to all Cuban sandwiches, ya gotta eat them here. Careful of the hot cheese on 1st bite.

Cafe Con Leche is served uniquely. A cup of milk along with espresso coffee in a coffee server. Bread here is pretty good... can’t stop eating.

This is place is just like home cooking. My family and I have been eating here for decades now. We love the food, love the staff and the best Cuban food on the East Coast. We'll see you guys soon! :)

Freshly made delicious food with specials for each day of the week. Attentive staffs. A+ for freshly squeezed juices!!! Always visit this restaurant when in the area. A must try!

I went over to El Artesano Restaurant for the Cuban sandwich, they delivered (meaning the sandwich was up to par). I tried the croquettes. I wasn't disappointed. I tried some other things ; I can't remember what it was but I went back several times afterwards. Getting a table and getting good service shouldn't be a problem. Don't worry about the prices. Whatever you get there is probably worth what you pay for.
