I tried the Mangú with three strokes and the death sounded good but with lemon juice, very rich and abundant.
For those who have not tried mangú, the best description is a mashed green plantain, and this is accompanied by fried cheese, egg and salami.
There is space with tables and chairs to eat quietly.
Very rich food, distinctly Dominican flavor, I recommend them

My dear mother, (RIP), used to own restaurants in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and she was an exceptional cook. She had an special touch with Dominican Food that was admired by my friends and family that still reminds me about her culinary skills. Since she passed away, I miss her greatly, and sometimes I remember her spaghettis con tostones, arroz con leche, sancocho, mondongo y patitas de cerdo. Since I migrated to this country, i haven't been able to find equal flavor (Sazón) anywhere, until, by just coincidence, I was passing through Bergerline Ave, and I saw an small restaurant named El Cachetón (Kary:s Restaurant). I sat at this place and had Locrio de Cerdo with Patitas de Cerdo con tostones, and all I could think was "Ratatouille". The scene where the culinary critic had a taste of a dish that transported him to the memory of his mom cooking his favorite dish. Until now, i haven't found anything like it, the same Sazón and taste of my mother's cooking, I couldn't believe it. I spoke with the owner and his wife and told them my story, and how honored I was of eating in their new restaurant; (they just acquired the place a month ago from my visit in December 2021). I wish them the best of luck and to always have the opportunity of going back and eating there to bring memories of my dear mother once again.
