Manchego Tapas Bar & Restaurant

Came here for the first time last night after hearing about it from friends, and it did not disappoint! We started off with the white sangria which was a perfect way to kick off the night, clearly was a fan favorite at my table as we kept ordering several pitchers to the table. The tapas were also just as amazing, from the calamari to the camaronês al ajillo it was all devoured instantly. Our entrees ranged from perfectly seasoned paella to great pieces of steak with endless sides. Overall, a great ambiance, great service and amazing food and drinks! Don’t forget to order to the churros before heading out!

The restaurant is beautiful. Great ambiance, and posh feel. The wait staff is very detailed and attentive. However the food leaves much to be desired. If you expect Spain type food/tapas and flavors—you will not get that here. For the price a $17 tapas platter is well priced for all it brings but taste lacks. For the platter you get 3 thin slices of bread. I requested bread 3x. Only to see each request of 3 slices billed at aprox 1$ a slice. The tomato paste was dropped on platter and mushed everything.

After, we went to bar area and music was great. Perfect sound. Music by dj and drinks were very good. Id return for the bar and music, but not likely for the food.

Loved this food! I ordered delivery for lunch and got the Pulpo a la brasa and the Manchego Salad. Both were delicious and plated really nicely. I will definetly be going in person next time!

Formally a Cuban restaurant, this place just opened recently as a Spain tapas restaurant. Trying to Rosado rosè sangria has a crisp apple and rose taste that should be experienced. Tapas were amazing along with desert. We will be going here for our restaurant of choice. Thank you to our server Yulia and Hoboken Sangria has tough competition.
