I'm giving three stars because I have a long history of being very pleased with this restaurant. I ordered my usual Mongolian Beef and was supremely disappointed. Previously the beef would be so tender you could cut it with a fork. Tonight, it was much like I would imagine it would be like to chew on a tire. Lots of fat and elasticity ... gross! In addition, service was pleasant but slow. Appetizers did not come out at the same time, refills on beverages were extremely slow, and coffee was served after everyone was finished with dessert. Overall, quality has declined, prices have increased, and portion size has shrunk. A very disappointing visit.
Food was pretty good and people friendly.
The pan- fried pork dumplings were good, a tat oily, but understandable.
The shrimp with orange was a tat sweet.
Sesame chicken and beef with noodles were good as is.
Loved that the food wasn't tasting salty and that they were able to make all dishes mild.
Nice restaurant by the water. Staff was attentive and friendly. We had six in our group, loved the lazy Susan on table for easy sharing of appetizers. The entrees were all really good, nothing went to waste! I had the Mongolian Beef, very tasty and the brown rice was prepared perfectly.
Great food, but very slow service.
As it's in Honolulu, expect it's a pricey.
Seating is great , indoor and outdoor.
Drinks are delicious.
Take a stroll around a city, dine here and just next door it's a gelato shop for that sweet tooth.
Enjoy!
This location is always great. The food is delicious and there is something for everyone. The Mongolian beef is absolutely amazing. Other must have dishes are the wonton soup, the lettuce wraps, the fried rice and the dragon roll. The banana spring roll with coconut ice cream is way better than I could ever have expected. The service is usually pretty descent.
