I've gotten very excited when I heard about this new gastro pub that opened right around the corner, and I've gotten even more excited when I checked their menu online and saw the very familiar dishes I grew up with. I just couldn't get out of my mind the Kaiserschmarren so last night we went for dinner. My husband warned me don't get too excited: " you know it's hard to come up to your mom`s amazing cooking". Well I tell you and told the owner Attila that his dishes were just as good as mom's! Not only the food was delightful but the service was great, very friendly and welcoming. So refreshing to have quality and freshly cooked food in this area that is made with pride! We had the soft pretzel with the yummy nostril cleaning spicy mustard. The baked spätzle Mac and cheese - with a hint of dill that just elevated the good old comfort food to a whole other level. Then we tried the Bratwurst over sauerkraut and the night`s special Borsos Tokany which is a tender pork ragu with peas over fries. Amazing!!!! And of course we finished with the Kaiserschmarren - an Austrian variation for crepes drenched in warm fresh blueberry sauce! Well done Attila and Staff! We will be back!
Great food, fun atmosphere, new owners are really friendly and attentive to their customers’ needs. Live music every Saturday and Sunday makes it a great place to hang out. Line dancing on Wednesdays is something to try next. Place is under new ownership so excuse the bit of wait time, they are working on hiring local staff so they can expedite food and bar orders.
For food we had the mushroom flat bread, pretzels (yummm) apple strudel and the salami charcuterie board.
Upon talking to the owners there are plans for exciting outdoor events come spring. I am excited to see flourishing of local businesses and places being turned around to elevate the community. To the owners, staff and managements , best of luck!
Visited the place with extended family and young children. Service was quick, very friendly and the food was amazing. We all ordered a different dish, and each of us were very pleased with their choice. Desserts were also so good. Highly recommend the place for everyone.
Great atmosphere. Terrific service. The food is absolutely phenomenal. They have really taken classic European cuisine and kicked it up a couple notches. My first night there i had the wild mushroom and ricotta flat bread which was so flavorful and crispy as well as some fresh cut truffle fries both were the best i have had in a long time. I just had to come back for a second night and it was even better. I had the Austrian Bread dumplings which just blew my mind. And the pretzel was the best i have ever had! I would recommend Muddy Waters a thousand times over, truly an incredible dining experience.
Great food! Friendly staff! What more can you ask for? We spoke to the owner and There is a plan to have live music regularly and karaoke on Monday nights. Looks like a fun place to enjoy yummy food and music. We definitely plan to return!
