This was my first time there and I just have to say I loved it! Baja Fish Tacos were delicious!

Tried Thomson's for the first time and it was excellent! Perfect setting looking at the Raritan river. excellent customer service, and great tasting food. I tried the lobster roll and it did not disappoint!

The food was fresh and the staff was very friendly. They renovated the restaurant beautifully however it was expensive for what you get. I ordered fish tacos and had probably less then an ounce of fish in each taco. I have lived in the area for more than 20 years . We probably won’t go back.

I have ate there twice since they opened. Both times the food and service was excellent. I have had the fish tacos and the crab cake. Both were excellent. You can dine at picnic tables by the river, out front on the porch or indoors. They also do takeout real good.

food was "ok", definitely fresh. BUT......expensive for what you get. We live in town and won't be back. $70 (plus a tip) for a small meal (for 2) served on disposable plates with bottle drinks . To me it was like a "Food Truck" in a building.....Paper menu, Pay then they bring you food......NOPE. Only thing that saved this from being a 2 star was food runner was super nice!.....Get with the program.....
