Cocina Del Sol

We ate lunch here and had enchiladas and chimichangas. I have to say the food didn't have much taste and was bland. The service was not that good either. It looks like they have a better dinner menu then lunch. It had a nice ambience set in the basement of an older building. It was pretty cozy. They also charged us $2.25 for a warm can of Sprite. Pretty disappointing .

My wife and I found this establishment quaint friendly and enjoyable. Small well laid out menu from lunch to dinner. My enjoyed the Tamales and I found the Salmon wonderful. The service was accommodating while they had no issue with my substitution.

Cocina Del Sol is authentic and freshly delicious; the best Mexican food in the area. The place is cozy and the personnel is very friendly.

Every time I'm in the area I can't resist coming here! Probably the most authentic Mexican cuisine you'll find around, the serving sizes are on the larger side, you can't go wrong with the solid burrito! More than enough seating inside and there is outdoor seating for the warmer months.

Fabulous food and service. Starting with com chips and salsa. Authentic and homemade. Scene is a bit of a basement, but sitting under the lone skylight was neat. Get some $6 guacamole...it is better than you can imagine.
