If you want a proper New Jersey pizza in the High Bridge NJ area, you gotta go to Carini's!

Up from North Carolina ate lunch there today 27 October 2018 really enjoyed.

I had a plain and a sicilian slice. Both were a bit above average. The crust and cheese were real good, but they could have used more sauce - kind if dry. Big problem was there was no A/C and it was super hot. One small table by the window, there was a room with more tables, but the lights were out.

I love their pizza. The crust is perfect...it's nice and light and not that heavy, doughy consistency. The amount of sauce, cheese and toppings are PERFECT! Staff is ALWAYS friendly and a lot of fun.

Very clean family-style eatery/carry-out place serving delicious Italian food made to order. There is plenty of indoor seating and a few small tables outside on the sidewalk.
We ordered spaghetti with meatballs and Stromboli to share. The portions were very large. The tomato sauce was chunky, fresh, and flavorful with fresh herbs and whole basil leaves, which speaks for itself. The meatballs were very nicely seasoned and were indeed consisting of meat. The Stromboli came fresh out of the oven, was crunchy with a soft center. The prices are very reasonable. Definitely two thumbs up.
