We adore Bells! The food is delicious, the drinks are top notch and everyone is very accommodating. The shrimp giamberetti is scrumptious and my husband raves about their pork chops (and he’s tough to impress). As locals we’ve tried just about every restaurant in Lambertville but we keep coming back to Bells.

Went to Bell's Tavern for a slow, quiet meal with a friend I hadn't seen in a while. We didn't have any beer, so I am unable to discuss any microbrews or similar. However, the Manhattan I ordered was better than the garden variety and the scotch my friend had was served very attractively served in an elegant tall glass. He ordered chicken parmigiana which he was satisfied with. I had vegetable lasagna which I found unexciting. I found the pasta was soggy and it generally tasted as though it had been either cooked much earlier or was previously frozen, with fresh sauce put on for serving. Service was efficient but I did not feel particularly welcome and the bill was too quickly suggested though the dining area was not anywhere near full. The building itself was interesting and perhaps it would have been a better experience if we had stuck to the oval bar at the front of the building.
