    A bit on the proxy side, but great lunch specials! The food is tasty and the place is inviting.

    The chicken caesar salad is nothing special, the romaine was a little too yellow for my taste. The steak and cheese we ordered was okay but not nearly as good as it used to be with the previous owner. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

    Great Character that comes from really down-to-earth owners a very charismatic cook and a very much appreciated first responder discount. The home cooking is just "icing on the cake" no pun intended.

    Food was very good and service was friendly. Very cute local place with a lot of regular customers. Quaint old time luncheonette atmosphere. The taylor ham and egg sandwiches were excellent.
