We went there for the dueling pianos the other night and had an awesome dinner also. I had the crab cakes. They were absolutely delicious. The entertainment was great too.

A quiet romantic place in Whitehouse Station that's easy to find off Main St. (next to the tracks of course). Our server on Sunday was the best we have had in years. She made us feel so welcome. What a great first impression for a town we might move into. She was very polite, informative, attentive, without interfering or interrupting our date.
My wife enjoyed the apple walnut salad. I took a chance on the turkey burger and was very pleased. The eggplant appetizer was well spiced but needed to be cooked more. Our server successfully suggested the apple crisp dessert which we enjoyed, although the apples were firm and need more cooking as well. Over all we liked the experience and will be back.

Breast I did not go there to eat but went there to see a band play, in fact a very good band play called high in the mid eighties (the band was great) however the Rail itself does not lend itself to having a great time dancing as the amount of space between the band and two big columns and tables is roughly about two and a half feet ...very tight for a crowd that might want to be in front of the band to move and groove. Additionally I believe that they might be a little understaffed as far as bartenders as the wait time for a drink was relatively long since and I was charged different prices depending on which bar staff you went to for the same drink (I just took that difference out of their tips if they charged me more than they should have). The staff up there where route to be friendly and cordial. Believe I may have met the owner towards the end of the night or the manager in charge and use really a nice guy. Might suggest that if they have a band and they want to have or allow people to have a good time and dance with a slight bit of elbow room that they perhaps move a table or two away from the front of the stage. So again this review is about to place when a band is playing and has nothing to do with the food.

Really enjoyed dinner here! Absolutely a breath of fresh air with great food and cool atmosphere. We went for family dinner and there was something for everyone to enjoy. We loved the awesome tall app platters and selection on the menu. The food was great and service was excellent. The band playing perfectly fit the ambience and was the perfect volume to enjoy while chatting. My two year was totally occupied while coloring, dancing, and watching the trains go by. Super relaxing and enjoyable for kids and parents. Can't wait to go back for drinks with my husband and sit at the bar. Super enjoyable evening!

Great visit to The Rail on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. We were promptly seated along the windows. The lunch selection was very decent. Our selections included a Buffalo Chicken Wrap, Crab Cake Appetizer and Chicken with Avocado Wrap. All were very good. Our waitress was pleasant, quick and thorough. She offered an excellent explanation of the different kinds of French Fries that are available. Plus, you can't go wrong when you can enjoy some quality 80's tunes while having lunch.
