Boston Market

This is a eat-in or carry-out reasonably priced family friendly restaurant. It's in the category of a fast-food restaurant. They mainly serve roasted chickens (whole, half or quarter); however, you can get beef. They have a small selection of vegetables. To my surprise the food tasted quite fresh and flavorful. I purchased the 3pc dark meat roasted chicken with herb and garlic, new potatoes, string/green beans ($9.49) and wild berry cobbler ($2.79). I will definitely visit Boston Market again. The manager and server/cashier were very kind, professional and accommodating, which made my visit more pleasurable.

No fancy view or decor, but the place was clean (including the restrooms). A decent amount of seating and parking (the amount of a typical fast-food restaurant). Wheelchair accessible. Easy to see and get to from U.S. Route 1 south or north (it's located on the northbound side).

Although I often have three-piece dark chicken, today I had the soup (chicken noodle, of course) and chicken pot pie. The soup had lots of chicken and vegetables what the broth was long on salt and short on flavor. The pot pie was good with generous amounts of chicken. The staff was friendly and helpful and the young man who prepared my order carried my food to the table for me. I would give him an honorable mention but he wasn't wearing a name tag so thank you, young man, for being so kind. I have a couple of quibbles about this location. The website offers turkey pot pie as a choice but this store only has chicken pot pies. When I search this store on Google Maps, there are several items available that do not appear in the menu listing on my tablet. Finally, the case where they have the bottled sodas keeps the sodas just barely below room temperature. I've been telling them for years to do something about this to make the soda cold, but they have never fixed the problem. I'm talkin for five years here.
