Came with my friends to try the newest restaurant in Edison as had heard excellent feedback from a friend. This place serves a wide array of dishes representing Chettinad, Andhra, Telangana and Mughlai cuisines. We got complimentary crispy poppadums with sweet chutney and pickled onions which was a great start. For appetizers we tried Tava fish, Drums of heaven (chicken) both of which were bursting with flavors. Then we ordered Goat and Chicken sukha which was smothered in delicious spices and tasted amazing. We also tried baby corn black pepper which was perfectly balanced with crispy veggies mixed with baby corn adding a perfect balance. Not to forget how good the Shrimp 65 tasted. Perfect amount of crispiness and bold flavors made it the perfect addition to the things we ordered. For the mains we were recommended the Chef's special Mandi Biryani. Mandi originates from Saudi Arabia and is the traditional dish of Yemen. Being a fan of Yemenese food, I also knew it is also popular in Malabar region of Kerala and Karnataka. The word “mandi” comes from the Arabic word nada which means “dew”. This is meant to be shared and we got the Goat and Chicken versions to try in our large group of 7 people and it was finger-licking delicious. From the Mughlai side we tried Paneer Butter Masala with Malabar paratha and I can tell that was the best dish I have tried in Mughlai food anywhere in Jersey or Manhattan. Sweet ending to the meal was hot brownie with ice cream. Happy tummy and happy customers. Service was impeccable and the staff was very attentive. We will be back to try their buffet lunch too!

This is a pretty new place in Edison. We heard about this word of mouth. To my surprise, this place turned out to be the beat I've had in w long time. Try the mandi biryani here, chefs speciality!
