Havana Central Menlo Park Mall

Great food nice strong drinks. Went on a Saturday night. Live band was awesome. I love a place with a parking lot. You won't go wrong going here. Looking forward to the next time.

Delicious food, great server (Dom) who was attentive, funny and quick to respond. Went for my wife's birthday and they surprised her with a good old happy birthday song which was funny! Only things to improve would be the wait between our reservation and seating was too long (c.15/20 minutes) and the first round of drinks was a little slow due to the bar being slow. Live music was fantastic, as was the selection of meals. Could not recommend enough and will most definitely be returning! Make sure you book in advance!

It was our first time there... the food was fine their customer service really needs serious work from management down. We were seated at a bar tabletop table, service was SLOW, we moved to the actual bar, the bartender was not friendly. As I started to inquire about the items I placed before moving seats, she told me, “This is two different areas, you have to go find your previous waiter to ask them if he placed your order.”

Wait, what? I kindly reminder her that I did not work there. I still ended up finding the previous waiter. She become more unpleasant. Never checked on (but, literally checked on the two guest sitting right next to us).

One of our orders were incorrect, approached a manager (who was unapproachable) and he was not friendly and not helpful).

I will ONLY be back to this place because other bartender (Sofia) ended up taking over (I’m assuming after switching shifts) and was so awesome. She was genuinely interested in making our experience better.

If this restaurant was full of Sofia’s; individuals who are professional, friendly and genuinely interested in providing great service, this place would be a hidden gem.

Came with my girlfriend for dinner. I had the Cuban sandwich which was delightful while she had 3 various empanadas which were delectable. We split an order of fried plantain which was mouthwatering. It was Friday night with a live band. They had mic issues at first but I enjoyed the entertainment. I would go back for another meal and drinks next time.

I hosted a surprise party for my sister’s 30th birthday at this location and I could not have been more pleased with the service. We had reserved the semi private room which provided the perfect ambiance for the occasion.We had a large party so I was in contact with Debbie who coordinated the entire event. She even stayed in contact with me when she was sick and not even at work! She worked out every detail and I can honestly say without her help, the night would not have been the success that it was! We had Jamie as our server and she was AMAZING. She was very friendly and truly great at her job. She was genuinely happy to help in any way that she could. The food came out soon after we ordered and other staff members helped bring out the food so no one had to wait for their dish. This was my first time at Havana Central and all of the food was so delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant when hosting parties because of their professionalism and for their fantastic menu! Thank you to the staff at Havana for helping making that night so special, we definitely will be coming back for more!
