Place has fantastic food. Always fresh. The meat just melts off the bone. And atmosphere I side is great. Like the lighting alot in there. And the decorative features on the wall makes it fun and interesting. Great service. Super fast. Always comes at perfect time. Great food!
Had not been in here in about six years.
The place has been nicely renovated with a new floor, new wall covering and new tables. The ribs were much better since I was here last. For starters, the garlic bread is amazing. For dinner we had the all you can eat regular BBQ baby back ribs and the Cajun St. Louis style ribs. Both were excellent. They were meaty and moist. There is also BBQ chicken and beef brisket with a wide range of side orders, including baked potatoes, french fries mashed potatoes, onion rings, baked beans and more. There is also a bar for those wanting liquor with their meals. The server Carmine was excellent. He recommended both types of ribs and was right on point. His service was fast, friendly and courteous, checking up on us several times. Prices are very reasonable.
There is all you can eat garlic bread and honestly it's probably better than the actual ribs. It's really soft, warm, and buttery. The ribs are traditional American style. I personally think there is way too much BBQ sauce on them but others like that. The ribs are all you can eat but you obviously can't share. There are others options but that you can order including salads, steaks, etc. but those aren't all you can eat. Regular drinks are free refills specialty are not.
There is usually a bit of a wait time. It's quite a packed place to be in. Don't expect there to be much room between you table and the one behind you. It's definitely a popular joint. A great spot for rib lovers and an okay spot for everything else.
Decent place for BBQ. In this area it may be the best, but its certainly not a destination BBQ spot - the majority of food is overly salted or buttered - but if that's your thing then head on down. On the day we visited the soda was definitely on syrup steroids - not sure if that's the usual. Used to come here as a child with my parents, but probably not worth too many more visits unless I feel like all you can eat.
I had a T-bone steak with salad and a side of baked beans accompanied by a glass of a house Cabernet that was not bad at all. The T-bone was perfectly cooked blackened medium rare, delicious! The bartender was awesome too. Thanks for a hearty meal, great environment and a happy heart after a long work week.
