We went for a group mid Holiday get together, 40 people attended, the food was excellent the wait staff went above and beyond. The group I was with we are all friends, when we called to ask weeks in advance they owners said it a Saturday night, we may have to be patient. Well they treated us so well, the food was so good, the service was as good as any 5 star Restaurant. They even gave each person their own check, so there was not a question on tipping or trying to figure out who ate what. We would of taken a bill but they appreciated the business and said it was no problem. Guess where we are going next time ? Thank You La Capannina. *****

Traveled 13 hours on i95. Didn't want to eat at a rest stop. Thanks to google maps found this great authentic pizzeria. Will never eat rest stop food again when in NJ. And it was only 3 miles from the turnpike. Ricco the owner was a great guy. Food and price were great too.

My group of 5 arrived before dinner for a late lunch. We were greeted promptly and seated. Waiter engaged our group quickly and professionally with menus and info I the specials.

We ordered, two pies (veggie and a pepperoni, sausage combo) an Italian salad platter for the table and 1 lentil soup. The antipasti was superb: fresh Mozz, tomatoes (out of season obviously),olives, spring mix, prosciutto, roasted peppers, provo cheese and a nice balsamic vinegar. All very fresh.

The table was also served warm focaccia bread with drizzle if olive oil and Italian herbs.

Our pies were excellent as well. Especially the veggie pie. The veggies were a nice mix of mushrooms, onions, eggplant and zucchini. They were fresh and still had enough crunch so that they dint make the pizza mushy. The crusts and cheese on both pies was perfect: just thick enough to hold everything.

It was my first visit here in over 10 years but certainly will be back soon!

Excellent food and huge portions! It's like getting two meals for the price of one! May take a little longer but each dish is made to order. Most of the staff is amazing. Very friendly. White table clothes, candles and intimacy. The entertainment is great too! Come sing, and dance. You won't believe you're in Monroe.

Food good with good portions Service good. Prices fair. Very nice bread with olive oil and waiters bring more if wanted without hesitation. Gets noisy if party in mext room so you may want to call ahead to ask if there is a party if you want a quiet meal. We go often well worth it.
