Taqueria Maria's

We were traveling through and decided to stop here. We ordered the empanadas as appetizer. These were tasty and different than how we normally have it New York but we love the taste and how it was served with salad and dressing. We spiced it up a bit with their hot sauce. For entrees I had the enchiladas and my husband had the steak fajita. Mine was perfect and saucy. The rice was nicely flavored. My husbands steak was a bit tough but taste good. We didn’t have any room for dessert. Overall the food was great. The restaurant was very tiny and so was their kitchen. These guys need a bigger space. They took a small place and turned it into something great, I can’t imagine what they’d do with a bigger space.

The service is incredible and the food is perfect. Maria is so kind and really wants to make sure all of her guests have a positive experience. Definitely one of the best places around!

Good service and good food. It was an off hour and we ordered safe, some tacos and enchiladas. Will be back and be more adventurous next time.

We found this place on the whim of a road trip! So grateful for their portion sizes, delicious authentic Mexican food and hospitality. Will definitely be recommending to my friends. Not too far off the Jersey turnpike and worth it!

Good food, good mood! Tiny hole in the wall hidden gem with great service and delicious dishes. Lots of lunch specials for $11.99. Food is perfectly spiced and seasoned, including the chips and salsa and salsa Verde. Highly recommend!
