My family went there after a family member funeral and we were treated like family. The staff was outstanding, the good was excellent and the atmosphere was the best ever. All our requests were given priority. Will definitely frequent this establishment over and over again. A huge thank you to the staff for showing that they care for others during a time of mourning.
Ordered the chicken parmigiana and sliced e plain pizza...both were awesome. Definitely recommend this spot. Parking is an issue.
Inviting friendly atmosphere. I had penne with hot sausage, spicy cherry tomatoes in a garlic and oil; absolutely delicious! I must go back and taste their pizza:-)
Good food near Rutgers. Parking is a little tough but food is good, prices are reasonable but drinks are a little pricey. Place is clean and place gets busy when there is a show going on.
Place used to be the place to go...20 years ago was my last visit, no longer in the area. Told my wife we have to go when we were in the area based on my fond memories. Restaurant was not crowded but the guy still looked at me like I had 2 heads when I told him I didn’t have a reservation. Sat us in a practically empty room, which was fine. Salad was very good. My spaghetti and meatballs were decent, pizzeria spaghetti nothing special. Sauce was generic, like a low end jarred supermarket sauce. Daughter had saltimbocca which was too salty to eat and chicken was rubbery. Wife’s risotto was decent. The problem was the service. Salads came out separately, 5 minutes apart after I reminded the waiter that there was more than one ordered. They were served with no silverware or napkins. The waits were excruciating and it took about a half hour just to get the check and escape. I guess everything changes with time....
