Harvest Moon Brewery & Cafe

I was a little disappointed to find that they only had a few beers on draft that they brew onsite however these beers were all delicious. We got a few flights so we could sample them all and were quite pleased with the results. The service was warm welcoming for a college town. I was a little surprised the food was so good, one of the better burgers I've had in the state of New Jersey. Would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a good dinner in a cozy building downtown.

We stopped in while traveling through the area to get something quick to eat. We checked out the menu online, and from what we saw we knew they would have something that would satisfy everyone. We started with the calamari, which was good. The entrees we chose were the hanger steak and the fish and chips. You can't usually go wrong with steak. It was for us to share and ordered medium rare, it was cooked perfectly and delicious. The blue cheese in the mashed potatoes I could have done without. The fish and chips however, 2 orders were enough for the four of us to share. The pieces were big but not too big and the breading was light and crispy. We've all eaten our share of fish and chips over the years. But, we all agreed these were the BEST we've ever had. I even thanked the chef as we left that evening. We will definitely stop in again when we are in the area. The service was also excellent as well.

Had scotch scotchy scotch ale. Delicious and warming. Crazy busy on a Thursday night. One challenge is that the bathroom is not strategically placed. And you have to fight through the busiest part of the bar to get there. Nice spot though and great beer.

Great afternoon/early evening ( in my case) spot . Service and beers we're excellent. My friend and I had a great time. Music and plenty of TV's.

Friendly staff. All our selections of food were great. Portions are generous and presentation amazing. I had the limone spaghetti. The flavors all went together. I especially enjoyed the pistachios in the entree. Definitely a place to visit.
