Efes Mediterranean Grill

Had lamb kabobs. Great as was everything. BYOB (no bar) service was excellent...try spinach/yogurt appetizer. You will be happy.

This is authentic Mediterranean restaurant but the grape wrapped lost little flavor and lamb kebab was average it is not cooked properly . However the chicken kebab was good with salad . I liked the chicken more than lamb food . Ambience of the restaurant is very nice and easily accessible from the street . However finding parking to dine here was little difficult . The restaurant cannot be accessible for physically handicapped people. Restrooms were clean and staff was so accommodating.
I would rate this four star because the food was good and the tea was mildly hot and mild flavored.

Very authentic and delicious food. We ordered the chicken kabobs, doner kabobs and garlic chicken. The food is amazing and tasty. We started with the mixed appetizer plate and loved it. The only downside to Efes is that over the years, the food quantity is slowly decreasing. The appetizer plate was smaller, the dinner plates quantity also was smaller.

The food is really tasty, but I wish they had maintained there food quantity as well.

Truly one of the best and authentic Turkish restaurant in New Jersey! I have been eating here for the past 10+ years and the consistency of the food quality is remarkable. I would highly recommend the cold appetizer sampler platter as a starter. All the kebab entrees are good, especially the Adana kebab- lots of flavor and the perfect spice level. I've had Turkish food in the heart of Istanbul and Efes is at the same level. Finish off with some fresh Baklava and Turkish tea! My compliments to the chefs and owners!
