It's comparable quality to Ramen Nagomi. We got the tonkotsu ramen and the takoyaki.

The ramen broth has a slightly different taste, but the noodles are the same. The meat has some melty bits. The egg was good.

The takoyaki seems fresher than the one at Ramen Nagomi. The takoyaki weren't so crispy, but that may be because we got takeout.

The comment below is accurate. Really good quality noodles. Straight noodles and egg noodles. Broth is not too salty but the taste is BOLD. Also not too much oil. For outside seating I chose to sit next to the a smoke shop so there is a slight breeze of cool smells. What noodles in the area have been asking for.

I’m a fan, I love this place! I’ve been waiting for this restaurant to open since I moved to New Brunswick in 2019. Due to the COVID lockdown, they only do pick up. But the food is epic!!!

Food quality — Rakki Ramen is the most authentic ramen you’ll find in the neighborhood. Compared to Ramen Nagomi, Rakkii Ramen is closer to the kind of stuff you’ll find in Japan. (Plus, the last time I was at Ramen Nagomi, I got food poisoning. I haven't been back since.) I ordered the miso ramen and added extra tofu. It is comparable to Ippudo Ramen’s Shiromaru Motaji. The broth is so rich and their bowls are very filling. Noodles could be a little firmer, but apart from that, no complaints at all. It hits the spot!

Price — My bowl was $16.50. Dude. Not a bad price for the best ramen for miles.

Overall, I think this place deserves a 5-star rating. There’s a sore lack of authentic Japanese food in New Brunswick, maybe New Jersey, especially for ramen. So, as far as I’m concerned, Rakki Ramen is a godsend. Writing this review just makes me crave it again.

Hope your experience is as satisfying as mine was!
