My favorite spicy Chinese restaurant. Deep fried peppered chicken, Shredded potatoes, stir fry Cabbage. Lots of great choices. Today the intestine was quite good as well. Great place if you are looking for spicy Chinese food.

Having lived in China for 5 years, I was craving some real Chinese food but did not want to make the journey to Flushing, NY. I found this place because it as the closest one to where I am and also the photos looked very authentic.

Once we entered, I noticed three things that I don’t usually see in American Chinese restaurants: I as greeted in Chinese, we had a Chinese menu, and the customers were all Chinese. I knew I was in for a treat.

We couldn’t decide what we wanted so we went with the recommendation of the wait staff and was glad we did it. We ordered a dry pot, stir fry cabbage, spicy short ribs and lomein.

The dry pot was a medley of fatty beef and lotus roots. It had a nice chili bean base and Mala flavor to it.
The stirfry cabbage was al dente and really fresh. The short ribs was quite spicy but very flavorful. The noodles were not super oily or dark from soy sauce. All the dishes had some vegetables that wasn’t broccoli.

The staff was very attentive and they came running when we ran out of tea. They came to check if everything was okay towards the end.

Overall, I would highly recommend this place if you want to try some authentic Chinese food in central Jersey.

This was our first time there, and I am so glad that we have such a great restaurant in our area. The food was delicious, and they have some very interesting dishes on the menu, The servers were attentive and friendly. I usually order brown rice with my meal, but I was surprised that they did not offer it. Other than that, we throughly enjoyed our meal.
