Specializing as a "small-bite" restaurant, this all-vegetarian spot on Oak Tree Road is worth a visit.
The menu is short and sweet, with chaats, and "mini-meals" such as chole bhature, pav bhaaji.
Service is warm, attentive, and the owner cares about pleasing and serving quality.
The chole bhature is a must order here, as the chole itself has visible methi and a good consistency to scoop up the chana masala, unlike other restaurants in the area that try to pass off poori as chole.
The chana masala, too is flavorful and worth every bite. Too many other restaurants have failed at this.
Don't skip out on homemade rabdi dessert or the chai, served correctly in a glass.
Nice food, reminds you of home. Staff is very friendly and cares about keeping the place neat and clean. One of the few restaurants where i dont have to worry about cleaned tables.
It is good for a quick bite. Chaat was good, and so was other starters. Entrees were good too. I just felt that it was on liyyle bit expensive side. Food was tasty and delicious.
Food tastes excellent. Authentic taste. Tried only north Indian entrees and they are brilliant.
Now the bad thing. Serving portions are too small with a similar price like other restaurants. Other restaurants at least serve double quantities than them.
So if you are hungry and fill your appetite then it may cost $30+ each person.
I think they need to work on it.
