Excellent sushi and a pleasant relaxing restaurant. The sushi and sashimi fish they have is the best in the area. The flavors and presentation are perfect. I have eaten at so many recommended sushi restaurants in NJ and NY and this hotel restaurant has them all beat with their fish quality! If you want to try amazingly authentic sushi/sashimi definitely try Aoi.

Most authentic Japanese restaurant that I found in the NYC area. It's almost impossible to find restaurants like this. Highly recommend it. I love their Kaiseki courses!

Mochi ice cream with red bean puree was excellent. The tropical roll was quite good and the salmon nigiri was solid. Atmosphere is nice. Overall, nothing incredible but very good.

This is my new favorite place. Authentic Japanese food and the best sashimi I have ever tried. Wonderful polite service, great food presentation, and overall just a good experience. I'm not an easy person to please but Aoi is amazing and has earned my vote in all aspects of my dining experience there. Thank you for existing Aoi !!!

We were a party of 10, and each of our meals came out of the kitchen at a different time. The last dish, vegetable tempura, took nearly 80 minutes to prepare and finally serve. Staff were well-intentioned but seemed inexperienced. Chef needs to improve the kitchen significantly. For the area, food was OK, but better food is found in St Mark's in NYC (Lower East Side). Prices were modest for a hotel restaurant.
