Curtains Bar and Restaurant

I've been here many times, generally pre-show at the new Avenel PAC. The menu keeps changing, with an valiant attempt to please everyone. I've enjoyed the food, generally large portions with a little twist. Good. fun atmosphere. Excellent food, great atmosphere. Our waiter Sean was very nice and very attentive. We also enjoyed the live music here before seeing a show at the Avenel playhouse. Definitely worth checking out. We will come back again.

This restaurant is my number one place. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to that place. Whenever I I need a decent meal, this is the place that comes first to my mind. fresh and varied food and a large menu.helpful staff members, and pleasant mood. In addition to that, the expence is fair. I praise this spot with no hesitation.

First time but DEFINITELY won't be my last. Great spot with a cool vibe. Joe is my new favorite bartender. Gonna grab some friends and come back for a show and some drinks real soon! Cheese plate WIN!

Place is brand new and very nice and clean. Looks great on the inside. Was someone playing music and he was very talented. We ordered nachos and the mac and cheese bites for appetizers. Nachos were, fine. Lacking on toppings and felt like there were too many chips. Chicken was alot not hot but overall were fine. Mac and cheese bites were good. Nothing amazing but not bad by any stretch. For dinner we ordered Cobb salad and a shrimp po boy. Cobb salad was fine. Came as one large wedge of lettuce that needed to be cut up. Shrimp po boy was delicious. Fries were also good. I would go again. It's a little pricey for what it is but not killer. Good spot. Bar is small though. Only 12 to 13 seats so be prepared to have to get a table.
