Nice place to sit, quite a bit of space, but the coffee was ok at best. Tasted burnt

I'm glad I gave this place another chance. I was turned off when I first went a few years ago and the lady was sneezing and coughing as she was making my friend's coffee. Took me a while , but I went back. Decent food too. Just takes a while because they seem short on staff most of the time.
Oh, took off 1 star because their baked items never look fresh to me. The young girl with the blonde bob isn't that nice either. She acts like it's too much to make a drink.

You will NEVER enjoy a better cup of coffee EVER. We treat ourselves to their in house roasted coffee beans sold per pound; I travel 30 minutes religiously every two weeks. I've tried other coffee houses but AC is by far THE best in NJ!! They make great noshies and coffee drinks also.

Great vibe, friendly staff. Located in the center of Cookman, so easy to access. The coffee menu is huge, and they have large grinding machines at the back. The aroma is enticing, and my friend LOVED his coffee and can't wait to go back!

America's Cup has been a fixture on Cookman Avenue since before Asbury's tourism industry was even revitalized in the last decade. It says quite a bit when a business in Asbury actually *improves* its core product as the traffic increases, instead of sacrificing quality for quantity.

To be blunt, their standard drip coffee is some of the best damn coffee you will ever have. I've noticed that a lot of cafes recently have been specializing in delivering pour-over craft coffees, but you'll usually pay a lot more (I usually pay $4 in Central Jersey for such a service). However, America's Cup roasts their own beans *and* they can turn out an equally-good if not better cup of *drip* coffee for half the price and in no time. Their iced coffee is, and I've drank dozens of black iced coffees, the *best* iced coffee I've ever had. I think that they might do pour-over as well, but I'm not sure. Their service is pretty good (they more or less run as a community joint), their coffee is fantastic, and their prices are really reasonable. The main cafe itself is nice and a great place to work, but I'm kind of diversifying between their Dunes (boardwalk) and main locations.

Their other stuff like miscellaneous cafe drinks, frozen drinks, pastries and breakfast items are great too. They don't compromise on the quality of their hot or iced teas, either (being an avid tea drinker here). But their coffee is really their specialty and I'd seriously rave about it longer if it wouldn't be totally redundant.
