Jimmy's Italian Restaurant

Place was packed. Service was slow but friendly. Ambiance was lacking as we were in the rear large room. Food quality was excellent as was the size of the portions. The next time we go we will request to be seated in the front bar room which feels like a traditional North Jersey neighborhood bar restaurant.

Great service, great food. The meatballs are delicious and tender. Our server gave great recommendations and was quite pleasant overall. I’ll definitely be back for those special occasions that call for a good, classic Italian dinner.

Huge delicious portions, fantastic service from all...we will b new regulars there! I had salmon with shrimp and clams.... Was to die for! Had a drink and it was poured nicely (neat).
Discovered we can order pizza here during the week, and we will!! Thank you especially Angelica (hope spelled correct). They even went out of their way for a celebration recognition w dessert and candles!

One of my few 5 stars. Excellent Italian food. To start fresh baked bread. The salad with the house Caesar dressing was one of the best I've had. They were a meal in themselves. I had Jimmy's shrimp and clams with linguine and red sauce. Brought home enough leftovers for another meal.

Jimmy's is the restaurant we celebrate special occasions at. We've been dining there since 2005 for New Years Eve and our birthdays. When you first enter at the bar you immediately get a sense of being a part of the Jimmy's family. There is cold antipasto on the bar for you to help yourself to while the savvy bartenders prepare your drinks. The food is fabulous. Since my heritage is Italian I order entrees I would never make at home. The pork chop Italian style is my favorite. It can easily feed two people. And you have to order the stuffed artichoke. It's a meal within itself. It is THE best you'll ever enjoy!!! Usually we're too full for desert but since we've discovered their pistachio cake we make room. I've been trying to get one if the food channels to showcase this AMAZING cake! Treat yourself to the culinary wonder of Jimmy's Italian restaurant. You'll be making your tradition after your first experience!
