The Robinson Ale House

We came here for the Thanksgiving buffet and it was amazing! The spread of food was fantastic! The carving stations featured turkey, ham and a delicious herb crusted roast beef. there were plenty of cheeses, salads and back good to try as well. Don't forget the mashed potatoes and other vegetables! The dessert table had a great selection of brownies, tarts and other goodies to try.

The atmosphere and views of the ocean were perfect. We sat by the fireplace. The staff was friendly and courteous.

Overall the experience was perfect!

Great atmosphere and ambiance. Beautiful large fireplace in center of dining room. Candles on each table and on fireplace mantle. Low lighting to set a nice romantic and cozy feel. Good beer and wine selection. Food is good. Went with something simple like a hamburger. Wide selection of how to prepare them. Very good. Juicy. Large party even after cooking. Wait staff was good. Very attentive without hovering. I very nice experience, and right on the boardwalk, so nice views. Has completely separated bar area, well stocked, and with wide screen TVs if coming in just to watch sports. Second floor has nice views, and has very nice Sunday brunch offering.

Went in with the family after visiting the Silverball Museum. Started off shaky as we sat in the bar area for a good amount of time without being acknowledged. The manager came over (wish I got his name, an African American male) and apologized and explained that there was a little confusion. He made it a point to make what could've been a negative experience a positive one. He checked on us often and brought some of our items to the table himself. The server was also pleasant. I will definitely return when I'm back at the boardwalk. The manager went above and beyond to ensure that we left happy.

Went to see Bob Egan play as we love his music. The only problem we had was we ordered a salad with grilled chicken and the chicken was old and hard. I mentioned this to the waiter and he took it off the bill. Normally we're very pleased with the food and service at all of McLoone's venues.

Had dinner here twice during the summer. Great location on the boardwalk. Great view of the ocean, excellent people watching if you sit outside. Inside is very nice, clean, great service. Tasty food, nice cocktail selection. Super long wait times because it's always busy.
