Asbury kitchen by David burke

This was my first visit to the Asbury Kitchen/ David Burke, with friends who I care about how we spend our time to enjoy one another's company with Food and drinks we believe it should be SPOT ON ..... with out excuse. And yes 100% was without saying to one another the Right place and food spoke for it self. Not fancy but just David Burke food. We smile at each other and said right place and can't wait to return. Food should be enjoy without saying bad choice . So, they had the Salmon and I New York Steak perfect, not to mention the Oysters with crabmeat need I say more. Just a wonderful atmosphere and the service was spot on. I have been to other Kitchens of David but this is where I live. Thanks, for a refresh night.

great food, wonderful experience. a true delight

I was excited to try David Burke's pop up restaurant since I heard good things about his other restaurant Drifthouse. Unfortunately the experience didn't live up to the expectations of a restaurant owned by a celebrity chef. We split everything that we ordered. I was disappointed with the appetizer which came was barely tepid. The ? was a little over done but better than Modine's (for those who don't know, Asbury Kitchen opened where Modine's used to be). The soft shell crab was excellent and I would order that again after trying a few other items.

It has potential but my visit today fell short of expectations for brunch to cost $100 for 2 after tax and tip

Our server was extremely helpful and friendly! The bacon appetizer and wings/calamari were amazing. Portions were great for sharing between three people. Cool cocktail menu.
