    The creations taste even better than they look - and each piece is a work of art / sculpture (follow Insta page). Cakes, cookies, tarts, holiday items and more: you can tell they use top tier ingredients and take pride in what they do. Photos attached are the Yule Log cake - check out the details like meringue mushrooms, candied cherry berries, buttercream holly, etc - and cookies (choc chip and nutty shortbread are too good to share). Also, Jesse who manages the counter is fantastic and ensures you leave with something that will please.

    If you live in NYC, this place wins over any posh bakery downtown; it’s a five minute walk from Atlantic Highlands ferry terminal. You will be a hero importing treats back to NYC!

    PS, their salads and frittatas for lunch are a family fave, too. Highest recommendation possible!!!!

    An outstanding bakery! The gorgeous attention to detail and delicious ingredients make for divine sweet and savory selections at Flour on First. They make the best carrot cake hands down that I've ever had. If you're in the area I highly recommend you stop in. If your not in the area it's a bakery worth taking a trip to. Be sure to check out their seasonal specials.

    I can not express enough how incredible this bakery is! By far the BEST BAKERY in not only Atlantic Highlands, but all of Monmouth County as well.
    The owner/chef Laura is an absolute master at her craft.
    Aside from the most delicious breakfast pastries, specialty desserts, and holiday themed cakes, she makes the most amazing custom drip cakes that look so good you don’t want to cut it open to ruin the artwork...but trust me, it is worth it!
    They also serve delicious local coffee that is the perfect addition to each and any of the delicious pastries.

    The peanut butter sandwich cookies are simply divine and it's the best coconut cake I've ever had. I don't think I'll ever bake for myself again!
