Great little place to eat. Food and service was great.

First reason for five stars is the service from the owners. Both Mark and Leanne know what it means to jump in wherever needed. We had not realized who Leanne was the first time she ever waited on our table because she just gets out there and does a great job not looking for special kudos if you will. Second reason is their menu is very large and quite hard to decide what to eat some days. That said, so many things sound enticing that I usually am the last to decide. For me, 99% of the time I end up eating off the specials menu because I just cannot resist what the chef is making that night. Nest is it is a BYOB, always a big plus in our book. Appreciate being able to drink what I like and not compromising. Especially since I am a wine drinker and rarely do I find what I like without paying through the nose if it is not BYOB. Our last trip, there was 6 of us. A few tasty dishes we had were the French Onion soup, mussels in white wine, coconut shrimp, fried calamari, Fresh Norwegian salmon with dill cream sauce, perfectly cooked filet mignon, crab cakes and a seafood pasta special. There is only one thing I would mark off for but not a whole star so I stuck with 5 stars. That would be seasoning on the sides. The chef tends to under season for my taste. Vegas need a little pick my up and he needs to use more salt. It doesn't bother me as I can always season a little myself but most times the ides are very plain. I assume they feel they cater to more people that way but that is my only criticism. We will go back often all winter.

Incredibly large menu. Servers and manager are nice. Food was great and came out quickly. BYOB which meant the bill for three was under a hundred bucks with an app, salads and main course (including 20% tip). Clean, nicely decorated. No complaints! Chef has been there a long time and knows how to cook. Worth going

We have been customers of Bedrock Bistro for many years. We have recommended them to countless others. We and all our friends (and the countless others) have enjoyed every meal served. The owner Mark sees to your satisfaction. And note, they are great for doing a dinner party by ordering takeout. Our special place.

Very good food and service. We have lived in Avon now for 4 generations. Have been to his older place and was very happy when he moved into town. We always have our beginning of the year dinner here in May and then again when the grandparents leave in September. Of course we also eat there year round for the ones that are left behind and have to endure the cold winters. Not only does Mark always have a smile and a kind word for us, but on more than one occasion we have had mishaps in there. One of the incidents, had it not been because of Marks attentiveness towards us, we probably would of lost my father in-law. Mark was very quick to respond and help us to get the situation under control until the ambulance came. So I say all of this to say, he takes his business seriously, his food is great, always fresh and reasonable priced. If he haven't been, then at least try it once, you will be back.
